It will have taken months to plan your big day. So many things to think about to make your day special and personal to yourselves. Which is why I just love to document all of the details of your day.

From getting ready...

...to dressing the church.

I particularly like photographing details of your venue. These little things are often what attracts you to the venue in the first place.

 The tables don't get forgotten.

Often the little things can get overlooked.

Often, if you don't have photos while you're getting ready, your shoes can get missed - unless you flash a peek of them from under your dress! This was taken "on the hoof" as the bride was getting out of the car.

Just thought I'd let you know the up-coming wedding fairs that I will be attending soon.

Wedding fairs are a great opportunity to look at many different wedding suppliers under one roof. It's especially useful when looking for a photographer as you get see their work and meet the photographer in person. So hopefully I'll see you at one of the venues to have a chat! Gillian.

Focus on ~ Colour themes - Black and White

Living and working in Newcastle upon Tyne, you would think I'd photograph a lot of weddings with a black and white colour theme. I don't often, but when it's done, it looks really classic and sophisticated.

Black bridesmaids dresses that they can wear again.

The mums were also in the black and white colour theme.

Quite by accident, the floor of the photo booth that they hired was black and white chequerboard! I spotted the bridesmaid's shoe with the bow for a cute pic.
